Ghuntas is currently attending the University of Toronto and has over 6 years of experience in debate. She uses her public speaking skills to advocate for Mental Health and Addictions and promote voices that are often not heard. With SpeechDojo, she hopes to share the power of communications skills.
Vida Savic

Vida is a Cellular, Molecular and Developmental Biology student at the University of Alberta with years of experience in public speaking, as well as work with kids. Her passion for working with young minds and a desire to share the public speaking skills that have been invaluable to her over the years motivated her to join SpeechDojo.
Ahad Faruqui

Ahad was born and raised in British Columbia and is currently a full IB student entering his senior year of highschool. Outside of SpeechDojo, Ahad loves to play sports as he currently captains the Old Scona Men’s handball team, and actively watches the UFC and NBA. Ahad spends the rest of his time training to be a WSI through RedCross.

Chris is a Life Sciences student at the University of Toronto with a competitive speech and debate background, as well as two years of hands-on teaching experience as a Classroom Instructor. Recognizing the multidisciplinary applications of effective communication skills, he believes that all students deserve the opportunity to learn public speaking in a relevant and engaging manner.
Fogil Zheng

Fogil is a first-year student at the University of Alberta with over 6 years of speech and debate experience. She joined SpeechDojo because of her love for both volunteerism and debate. Her belief that public speaking is an imperative tool for success is the key reason why she hopes to share the skill with kids everywhere as a Classroom Instructor.
Amy Shi

Amy is a student entering her first year of university at McMaster University, where she will be studying Health Sciences starting Fall 2023. She has been a Classroom Instructor with SpeechDojo since late 2021, and is passionate about helping younger students develop their public speaking skills and their confidence.
Ishrat Chahal

Ishrat is currently a first-year law student and has been a part of SpeechDojo since her time in high school. Throughout this time, she has developed an appreciation for the necessity and versatility of public speaking. She hopes that through her work at SpeechDojo, she can share her love for the subject and instill in others a belief that public speaking is for all of us.
Heather Wang

Heather Wang studies sciences at the University of British Columbia. She remains grateful for her teachers and mentors for guiding her out of her fear of public speaking in her younger years, paying their kindness forward by teaching others how to open their hearts and speak up.

Akhilan is a neuroscience student at the University of Toronto and has over 6 years of Speech and Debate experience. Having competed and coached, the next step in his journey is to pass on what he has learned to others in order to promote public speaking in the wider community.

Ayaan is a compassionate and driven individual who is currently attending Dr Anne Anderson High School. Through SpeechDojo he has found the perfect platform to share his passion for effective communication and assisting others. Ayaan dedicates himself to helping individuals in their confidence and connection, guiding them to discover their voice and enhance their communication skills.

Divneet is a grade 12 student at Ross Sheppard High School. She joined SpeechDojo because she is passionate about helping students build confidence while improving their public speaking skills. With the help of her past experiences, she wishes to encourage the next generation to reach their full potential in their speaking abilities.
Pava Savic

Pava is an undergrad student at the University of Alberta's faculty of science who has been taking an active interest in public speaking since her debate career in junior high. Passionate about public speaking and working with kids, Pava also volunteers at an English summer camp in Serbia, her home country, as a language instructor.

Jasundeep is an active supporter of the importance of speech and debate in everyday life. She believes these skills provides an opportunity to develop critical thinking skills, along with simply communicating our opinions. This, along with helping students gain confidence in public speaking, is the core reason why she joined SpeechDojo. Jazzy is currently attending Old Scona Academic High School.

Being the Co-President for a local branch of a non-profit that focuses on accessibility within the legal field, she has always been passionate about accessibility and public speaking. Recognizing the significance of public speaking, she aims to improve the accessibility of public speaking and diversity within the field.

Tara is a first year student at the University of Alberta. She has participated in and volunteered for debate tournaments throughout middle school and high school.
